Mtume Talisimu T-Shirt

This special t-shirt exclusively features the artwork from Mtume’s legendary Alkebu-Lan - Land Of The Blacks (Live At The East), a 1971 album celebrated as an iconic moment in Afrocentric and free jazz. Bronx, New York born visual artist Wabembe developed the original Alkebu-Lan cover art and his artistic title “Mtume” appears at the top of the shirt with his African talisimu (a spiritual totem) from the album appearing below it.
